1st John: Love is a verb.

Happy Mother’s Day! We continue our series on the letter of First John. We have talked about the letter’s path of faith-hearing, seeing touching. Last week we talked about the life of faith and the importance of humility and forgiveness. We also found answers to some pretty important questions like: how do we know that we are being faithful? how can we be certain that God is with/within us? how do we deal with doubt? how can we be sure that our lives are aligned with God’s purposes? Today we will look more deeply at love as compassionate action.

Thank you to Mike and Ken, our tech team; our music coordinators, Marcia, Marilyn and Sandy, our talented choir, as well as, Rob and Katharine for lifting our spirits throughout today’s program.
